What is FIRE?FIRE is Our Lady of the Lake’s family faith formation program for K- through 10th grade. When Jesus opened the Scripture to the Apostles on the road to Emmaus, their hearts burned within them. Our desire for your family is that, through the FIRE program, your hearts will also burn as we all grow in understanding of Christ and his message.
We recognize that the most important years in a child’s road of life are the years they travel with their family. Therefore the family and the home are the best places for faith and love for Jesus to be fanned into flame. FIRE is more than religion classes; it is a hands-on family experience designed to empower parents as the most influential catechists in their children's lives.

Who is FIRE for?FIRE is for all families with children preK - 10th grade regarless of how their children are receiving their formal education. Private school, public school, and homeschooled children are all welcome. FIRE fulfills the requirment for religious education in preparation for sacraments.

Ready to Register?This summer our faith formation team, Tiffany Blanchette and Katie Boyle, will be meeting with each family to get to know you and your faith formation needs and desires. In this meeting we will help you map out your family's path within FIRE so that you can register for the correct track.
