Our mission is to address the pressures and temptations men face in our modern culture, especially in their roles as husbands and fathers. TMIY combines the latest in social and medical science with the teachings of the Catholic church and the wisdom of the saints. Our core purpose is to help these men grow & connect through building a community & brotherhood, strengthening their family lives, and growing in their faith. Meetings begin September 10th. We will meet every Tuesday from 5:30am - 7am at the Mandeville Community Center.

Our desire in the ministry of marriage and family life is to enrich the members of OLL as they grow in holiness through their vocation. We offer a variety of opportunities for prayer and date nights throughout the year. We pray that everyone will come to see the truth, goodness, and beauty that God has given us through marriage and family life.
In-Home Marriage Preparation Resources are accessible only to those who have attended Jan and Lloyd Tate's In-Home Marriage Preparation training. Please follow the link below to visit the website
The Faith and Fun Club was founded in 1952 to bring together the over 50 age group. The objective of this club is to be a community of faith-sharing and fun, to help and care for senior members, and to contribute to the welfare of the parish. Anyone 50 years or older can join. We meet the first Saturday of every other month Jan, Mar, May, Sept and Nov. Dues are $25.00 per year. We host Crawfish Boils, Picnics, Thanksgiving Dinner, Christmas dinner and a dance. Fees are collected to fund our events.
Confraternity of Christian Mothers
Confraternity of Christian Mothers (CCM) is an international Catholic organization that was formed in the 1850's in France. The purpose of CCM is to unite women within the Parish to pray, support, and uphold Christian values for not only our children, but all children of the parish. Through our patron, "Mother of Sorrows", we pray for our children and all children of the parish, and we support each other in our Chathoic faith. CCM welcomes women of all ages, with children of all ages, and all women who support the children of our parish through parish ministries.
We meet on either the 3rd or 4th Thursday of every month, the meeting location may vary. We always begin our meetings with the Daily Prayer for Children, which is observed by all CCM chapters all over the world. Following the Mother's Prayers, we often pray the Rosary and will offer up special intentions, and then we gather in fellowship through a potluck meal. We often have speakers, presenters, and members who attend our meetings to share their journeys in faith.
Yearly Events:
The organiazation partners with the Knights of Columbus to lead Rosaries at the lakefront twice a year. We also host Advent and Lenten Reflections that incorporate mass attendance together, potluck brunch, and special guest speakers. Throught the leadership of Mary Johnston, CCM supports a prision minsitry titled "Growing by Grace" through which the ministry prays for prisoners, support them with card and letters, and support the men through sales of jewelry and crafts they have created. We have also been blessed to have Catherine Chiara lead us in a night of "Praying and Painting" where we gather in faith to paint and pray together.
